PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • How can I have access to the Eiffel Tower during the Olympics?

    From July 18th to 25th, 2024, a security corridor will be in place to access the restaurant Madame Brasserie. Access will only be through Entrance 1, located on Avenue de Suffren, SOUTH entrance. You must present a reservation or a confirmation email of the reservation per person that we recommend you print.
    Acess to Entrence 1 will be possible via Boulevard de Grenelle, then rue Desaix, Avenue de Suffren, and finaly Avenue Octave Gréard

    From July 27th, the Eiffel Tower is in the red zone. This area is freely accessible on foot.

    On foot or by bike  
    - Madame Brasserie, on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, is fully accessible on foot.  
    - Note: The Pont de l'Iéna will be closed to traffic from 1 July and to pedestrians and cyclists from 12 to 16 July and from 22 July.  

    By public transport  
    From 18 to 26 July  Metro and RER stations around the Eiffel Tower will be closed:  
    - To get to the Eiffel Tower by public transport, take metro line 6 to Bir-Hakeim station, 800 metres from the site, or Dupleix station on the same line. Walk for about 15 minutes.  
    > Subway station closed: Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau, Alma Marceau, Iéna, Trocadéro, Passy.  
    - You can take the RER C and get off at "Avenue du Président Kennedy". Allow about 20 minutes on foot to reach the site.  
    > Closed line: RER C - Champ de Mars Eiffel Tower, Pont de l'Alma Please note that the RER C may be closed from 24 to 26 July. 
    - Buses will continue to run on the reserved Olympic lanes. However, some lines will be re-routed in the Champ-de-Mars, Place du Trocadéro sectors (information to follow from RATP). 

    Cars/Taxis/VTC 
    - Buses and coaches are not allowed inside the red zone. Parking is available outside the perimeter.  
    - Taxis and VTC may only enter the red zones to drop off or pick up an authorised person or spectator with a ticket.

  • During the Olympic Games, at what time should I arrive at the Eiffel Tower for my lunch/dinner?

    You must arrive at the Eiffel Tower 45 minutes before your reservation.
  • Is the restaurant open during the Olympic Games?

    Yes, Madame Brasserie will be open during the Olympic Games, except on 26 July, the day of the Opening Ceremony. 
  • Where should I collect my ascent ticket ?

    You can pick your ascent ticket at the Eiffel Tower reception area, next to the North Pillar.
  • What floor is Madame Brasserie on?

    Madame Brasserie is on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, 57m above the ground. It has a new glass floor and cultural facilities to improve the visitor experience.

    The other catering areas are located as follows:
    - The Jules Verne gourmet restaurant is located on the second floor.
    - Takeaway areas (buffets) are located on the esplanade and first and second floors.
    - The Champagne Bar is located on the top floor (third floor).
  • Is it possible to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower with my Madame Brasserie ticket?

    No, if you want to go to the 2nd or 3rd floor of the Tower, you need to buy tickets online on the Eiffel Tower website or at the bottom of the Tower on the day of the reservation.

  • Are objects prohibited inside the Eiffel Tower?

    Visitors are not allowed to bring certain objects into the restaurant & spaces open to the public, i.e. items that, due to their destination or characteristics, present security risks to other people, equipment or the monument, and in particular:
    > weapons and munitions,
    > explosive, flammable or volatile substances,
    > bladed weapons likely to be a danger to the safety of the public and employees,
    > tools (cutters, screw drivers, pliers etc),
    > items that are too heavy, bulky or repulsive,
    > oversized luggage or bags,
    > climbing or jumping gear (especially bungee jumping and parachutes), as well as publicity materials of any kind,
    > child buggies/strollers that are not foldable,
    > glass bottles, drink cans,
    > an excessive amount of food or drink (determined by the agents).
    In order to check bag dimensions, gauges are provided for visitors at the four corners of the esplanade and at the security control before entry to the monument. Warning: Any object not accepted on the Eiffel Tower cannot be deposited.
  • Is there a specific dress code for coming to the Brasserie?

    For dinner, a proper attire is required (are not allowed : sportswear, jogging, running shoes, flip-flops).
  • Is it possible to smoke at Madame Brasserie?

    The Eiffel Tower is a completely non-smoking area. The use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited.
  • Are animals allowed inside Madame Brasserie?

    Animals cannot be allowed on the monument except for those trained to accompany people recognized as disabled. Any other animal will not be accepted.
  • Is there access for people with reduced mobility?

    Yes, people with reduced mobility can access the restaurant through the elevators.

RESERVATION

  • How can I book if we are a group of more than 10 people?

    For reservations of more than 10 people, please contact us via the contact form. The choice of the unique menu is imposed for groups of 11 or more (except for allergies and dietary restrictions). 
  • Can I privatize the restaurant?

    It is possible to privatize the entire restaurant under certain conditions and subject to availability. For more information, contact us via our contact form.
  • Is it possible to come for lunch/dinner without a reservation?

    It is possible to come for lunch/dinner withiut reservation, subject to availability. Ascension tickets can be booked directly at the Tour Eiffel ticket office or on the website www.toureiffel.paris.en
  • Is it possible to make a reservation for breakfast and snack?

    No, only lunch and dinner offers are available for reservation. 
  • How do I change my booking?

    You can modify your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before your reservation date. For changes made between 7 and 3 days before your reservation date, both the ascent tickets for the original date and those for the new date will be charged. If you have any questions, please contact our reservation service using the information provided in your confirmation email.

GASTRONOMY AND OFFERS

  • Are there menus adapted to special diets?

    Are you prone to allergies or dietary restrictions ? To meet your expectations, we invite you to indicate your dietary restrictions via the contact form.
  • Do you offer special services on holidays?

    The restaurant serves special menus for some holidays, such as the 31st of December and the 14th of February. 

    Bookings are compulsory and menus can be viewed online.
  • Can I come and celebrate an event at the Brasserie (birthday, marriage proposal, etc.)?

    Yes, the options must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance on our website.
  • Is it possible to customize our dining experience?

    When you visit Madame Brasserie, you can personalize your experience by adding options to your menu:

     

    - Replace your menu wines with champagne with the All-Champagne option.

     

    - The Celebration option allows you to enjoy a glass of Champagne and leave with a printed photo to immortalize your visit to Madame Brasserie.

     

    - Go for the gourmet souvenir and leave with a Madame Brasserie tote bag, a giant madeleine, and a box of French biscuits.

    For other options, you must select them directly at the time of booking by telephone or via the website.

  • Is there a photography service at the restaurant?

    Professional photographers are available to capture moments during your meal at Madame Brasserie. Various services are offered during your visit, including single prints on the spot or digital delivery. Please feel free to reach out to our on-site team if you wish to use this service during your visit.
  • Is it possible to bring your own drinks/cake ?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring your own drinks/cake inside the Eiffel Tower. 

Your Children

  • I am bringing a stroller, what should I do?

    If you are coming with a baby, please specify this when making your reservation in the comments section or fill out this form. If you have a stroller, please fold it before entering the elevator. In the restaurant, you can request booster seats; however, please note that the restaurant does not have high chairs and does not have space for strollers at the tables.
  • Does my child have to pay for an ascent ticket?

    The ascent ticket for children under 4 years is free. A children's menu can be proposed and must be paid for at the same time as the adult menus. Please note that the restaurant does not have baby seats and there is not enough space for strollers to remain unfolded. 
  • Do you have children's menus?

    Yes, children's menus are available. Details of the menu can be found on our website.
